CARE Sunday School
The teaching of God’s Word and the fulfillment of the Great Commission of reaching the lost is a priority at New Hope. To fulfill this priority, the Sunday School department has adopted the theme of CARE Sunday School. CARE simply stands for Concerned About Reaching Everyone. We have Sunday School classes for all ages from birth to senior adults.
AWANA Ministry
II Timothy 2:15 “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.” At New Hope teaching God’s Word to our children and bringing them up under the nurture and admonition of the Lord is a priority. Our AWANA ministry accomplishes this goal. AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed. This program lasts for two hours on Sunday Nights. It is for ages nursery to youth. The children have active and exciting game time, handbook time memorizing God’s Word and Bible study time.
Discipleship Training
The purpose of Discipleship training is to equip Christians in discipleship skills. We have classes for all ages from nursery to senior adults. At New Hope we want to make sure that our members have the tools to rightly divide the Word’s of Truth (II Timothy 2:15)
Children’s Ministry
Our Children are a very valuable asset at New Hope. We have many ministries available to our children. We have Sunday School classes, AWANA, children’s church, children’s sermons, and monthly activities. Our children’s committee works hard at seeing that the children receive a well balanced program to help them grow in their faith.
Youth Ministry
Our youth ministry also has a well balanced program of ensuring a strong Christian faith. They have fellowships, Bible study, mission opportunities, worship experiences, retreats and more.
Adult Choir and Praise Band
At New Hope we love to worship Christ. Our adult choir practices on Wednesdays and usually sings during the morning worship. The praise band practices on Sunday nights and plays during the evening worship service. Our music director invites anyone to participate in this wonderful ministry experience.
Missions Groups
Our Brotherhood and Women’s On Mission (WOM), meet once a month to provide, plan and participate in many mission opportunities. The WOM meet the first Monday at 7pm.
Senior Adult Ministry
Our senior adults are very valuable and precious at New Hope. They meet on a regular basis to fellwoship and have a time of prayer and devotion. The meet at 11:30am on the 2nd Thursday of every month for lunch, and also on the 4th Thursday at 9am for breakfast. All are welcomed.
