Pastor Matt Bonnette
I am glad to be a part of New Hope Baptist Church. My wife, Melissa and two daughters, Madolyn and Macy and I began our ministry here on June 4th, 2007.
I was born and raised in Pekin, IL and left there to serve in the United States Army for four years at Ft. Rucker, AL.
I previously served as a children’s pastor and youth pastor before coming to New Hope as senior pastor. I am a graduate of the Baptist College of Florida and Liberty University with a Masters of Divinity in Church Ministries. I am also a Chaplain in the Georgia Army National Guard.

Cheri Harrell - Minister of Music
My family and I have been a part of New Hope Church since the early 1980s. Art and music are two of my major interests. I am the art teacher at Early Co. High School and am honored to be able to use my love for music in God’s service. Music has always been part of my life. I took organ lessons as a teen and sang in church and school choirs. I was a member of the College Choir at First Baptist, Tallahassee, during my college years. I have been working on learning guitar, dulcimer, and mandolin. I pray that the music here will speak to hearts and enhance worship.
